Opportunity 

This is a contract-to-hire position reporting to the VP of Engineering; You’ll be a part of the security operations team working closely with the SRE team. The Security Operations team will build out our secure-by-design cloud infrastructure, technology systems, and services and work closely with our compliance and governance team to ensure we protect our customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical remediation to areas identified in our incident response, threat modeling, and application security assessments by providing engineering support to remediate security issues across all of UJET.
• Support our technical incident response by analyzing, performing research, and validating security events for potential anomalies from our network security, intrusion detection, and other security monitoring systems.
• Security Development and Administration: Evaluate new cybersecurity applications or tools, rules/signatures, access controls, and configurations of cybersecurity platforms.
• Design and implement security controls and configurations via Terraform to UJET’s infrastructure.

Requirements

• 4+ years of relevant DevOps engineering experience in developing, configuring, and troubleshooting new and existing services and environments using cloud technologies such as AWS, GCP, containers (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Demonstratable experience with scripting and automation tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools to automate cloud systems on AWS or GCP.
• Hands-on configuration and management of cloud security management and compliance tool Threat Stack or others: GuardDuty, Cloud Custodian, Forseti, etc.
• Knowledge of common secure coding principles and application security vulnerabilities found in Cloud hosted SaaS services.

• Experience implementing DevSecOps pipelines and converting manual processes into automated processes.

• Compliance / Security Audit Experience: ISO, SOC, PCI, HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA
• Certifications: GIAC, CISSP, CSSLP, OSCP, CCSP
