Unity’s Valladolid studio is creating a new tools and integrations team. The current team develops Plastic SCM, a high-performance version control system for advanced teams. We are now looking for a Lead Engineer who can grow your own team.

This is a key team for Unity as you will be responsible for taking care of tools, integrations, plugins and a variety of new products.

You will be a generalist, someone who will be able to contribute to every area of the products in this new team and have solid understanding of Version Control.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship
• Help guide team development efforts towards designing or coding a new big feature: like a new integration with a CI system, or bringing a key new feature to the Unity plugin
• Work on the Perforce integration or one of the other plugins
• Develop new applications, API’s and implement protocols
• Analyze and resolve technical and application problems
• Collaborate with the team lead and other software developers to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain solutions based on the Unity Reflect
• Participate in peer-reviews of related code

Requirements

• Prior experience as a technical team lead
• Proficiency developing in C# / .NET
• Solid understanding of version control. You’ve probably used a number of different systems and are familiar with Git internals
• Solid knowledge of software design
• Fluent in both English and Spanish

• Java Experience
• Experience with macOS and/or Linux development
