Senior Manager - Systems and Network Security

At Zoom, we are seeking an experienced Senior Manager of Systems and Network Security to join the Security Operations team. This role will be responsible for driving the service strategy, growing a team of Security Engineers and streamlining security processes through automation and operating critical systems within the Zoom’s environment.

What we are looking for:

• A leader that sets the vision, implements, enhances and manages security tools and technologies that support the mission to identify and protect Zoom assets, detects security incidents, and rapidly respond and recover.

• A problem solver that has the ability to demonstrate and break down large, complex issues into manageable components.

• Ability to manage multiple projects of high complexity.

• Manage day-to-day operations service requests.

• Management service and health reviews of systems/network configurations.

• Drive vulnerability remediation, including the assessment and deployment of vendor security updates.

• Drive continuous improvement of systems/network workflows and processes through automation and innovation.

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience as an Engineering Manager

• In-depth knowledge of Linux systems

• In-depth knowledge with configuration management tools (Ansible, Salt, Chef, Puppet).

• Experienced in securing networks at scale, along with network security techniques and technology (e.g. authentication, DMZs, firewalls, microsegmentation, network ACLs, proxies, zero trust).

• Experienced on technical background in managing highly complex, multi-platform environments (servers, networks, storage, virtualization, systems monitoring and management).

• Experienced implementing CI/CD pipelines and process automation (Jenkins, Gitlab, Lambdas)

• Experienced with source code control and common workflows (git, GitLab, GitHub)

• Experienced in monitoring and alerting tools SaaS and Open Sourced solutions (Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana, SignalFx, DataDog, CloudWatch, PagerDuty)

• Experienced with containers and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, Operator Framework)
