As a software engineer on the CAD team at Aurora, you will help us develop a new generation CAD engine for our solar design platform so our users can design larger systems with higher quality and speed.

What you'll do:

• Improve and optimize our CAD computing and rendering Solar software
• Develop innovative ways to allow interactive, easy editing of massive 3D scenes consisting of tens of thousands of geometry objects
• Develop visualization tools for electrical circuits and allow edits
• Write high-quality code by implementing end-to-end automated tests for those functions
• Mentor engineers on the team on industry-standard 3D Computer Graphics practices

What we value:

• Degree in Computer Science or related field/years of experience, with a focus on 3D computer graphics
• Proficiency with at least one graphics API (WebGL, Vulkan, Metal, DirectX, ...)
• Proficiency with JavaScript and C++
• Experience with continuous integration, and automated validation/deployment systems
• Familiarity with Cloud-Platform 3D computing is a plus
