You will be working with the Sage Intacct Site Operations team. We are looking for long term collaboration. Most of our remote team members work full time as part of the Sage Intacct's Operations team and have been with us for several years. Together we maintain our mission critical SaaS production infrastructure to high levels of availability, security, stability, scalability, performance, and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy and manage cloud-native and hybrid solutions to meet business needs.
• Research new technological subsystems helping to modernize our infrastructure and working with various groups to maintain our high uptimes and deliverables to various business partners.
• Ability to prioritize and lead various projects
• Participate in our team's unique 24x7 on call rotation where the rare page in the middle of the night is important. Here, everyone participates!

Requirements:

• Extensive hands-on expertise with various AWS services. (IAM, VPC, Lambda, Config, Cloud Trail, CloudWatch, Control Tower, S3, AMIs, VPC peering, Route53, Auto Scaling, EKS, Billing etc..)
• Significient hands on experience with CI/CD & configuration (ie. Terraform, Git, Jenkins, Ansible etc..)
• Demonstrable knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, web application security, experience supporting multi-tier web application architectures, and expert level understanding of Linux servers, specifically RHEL/CentOS. Advanced expertise in bash scripting. 
• Substantial programming/automation experience using commonly used programming languages, preferably Python. 
• Substantial experience managing, diagnosing and debugging large-scale distributed systems in production, including web servers, non-relational databases; cache, containers, and mechanisms associated with resiliency, graceful degradation and disaster recovery.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
