What we are building

The Domino PHaM (Publish, Host and Monitor) team’s mission is to build out a best in class platform for publishing, hosting and monitoring of machine learning models. We have ambitious goals to allow models to be published anywhere, hosted locally in an enterprise grade environment with a focus on performance, scalability and observability, and have those models analyzed for a variety of quality metrics including model degradation and data drift.  

What your impact will be

As a Staff Software Engineer within the PHaM (Publish, Host and Monitor) team, you’ll be working on a team to build out our publishing, hosting and monitoring of machine learning models. We have ambitious goals to allow models to be published anywhere, hosted locally in a production grade environment with proper observability and scalability, and analyzed for a variety of quality metrics using patent-pending algorithms. 

• Architect services in a reliable, scalable and observable manner
• Lead and participate in critical technical, design, and product discussions with leaders across the organization and company
• Craft durable, well-tested code with an unwavering commitment to product quality
• Build products, systems, and services that have immediate impact on our customers
• Partner closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to define your team’s vision and roadmap by thoroughly understanding your customers’ needs
• Coach and develop engineers, cultivating pragmatic engineering decision-making, and leveraging your technical expertise to constantly raise the bar

What We Look For in This Role

• Minimum of 15 years experience in software engineering
• Prior experience in a technical lead role, with responsibility for architectural decisions and the development of other software engineers
• Prior experience with enterprise software
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field involving coding or equivalent technical experience
• We are generally programming language agnostic. What is important is the ability to pick up new technologies quickly and the ability to use the tools at your disposal in the correct manner. These are some of the technologies we use today: Scala, Golang, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, MongoDB, Spark, Typescript, Javascript, and React.
