The Role

We are currently seeking an Accounts Payable- Staff Accountant to join our Finance team! This role will work under the direction of the Assistant Controller and perform daily accounts payable, expense report and cash management tasks and exercise a high level of independence, accountability, teamwork, good judgment and attention to detail. Work independently and collaboratively as well as outstanding support to our employees and vendors.


What You’ll Do

  • Process accounts payable transactions by collecting, reviewing and entering all bills in Bill.com (monitor compliance with policies) and route invoices for proper approval and General Ledger and Department Account numbers. Enter data into Bill.com, Netsuite, Concur. Confirm invoice information before posting invoices 
  • Prioritize invoices to ensure that past due invoices, check requests and any other special request are included in the weekly payment run. Prepare checks/vouchers in Netsuite. Verify all invoices have been keyed and posted for the weekly runs. Verify vendor information (i.e. Remit to address, etc.) referenced on each invoice against what is referenced in the Accounts Payable system. Answer questions pertaining to Accounts Payable
  • Reconcile AP aging to Bill.com aging and other balance sheet reconciliations. DPO calculation and payments analysis. Understand the Accrual and Prepaid concepts and assist other team members in performing month-end tasks. 
  • Assist with annual and interim audits


Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s or Associate's degree 
  • At least 3 years of experience in similar role
  • Bills.com, NetSuite and Concur experience preferred or equivalent experience
  • Ability to problem solve issues as well as evaluate priorities and multi-task, accordingly.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) Tools
  • Team-oriented and have the ability to effectively communicate and work with all levels of organization.
