Director, Revenue and GL Operations

The finance team is looking for a team member who can continue to help transform the organization to the next level. We strive to become a truly best-in-class finance organization. Your Responsibilities:
- Own full month-end close processes for revenue and GL operations
- Lead automation and process improvement of the revenue and GL operations
- Take on the completion and review of key account reconciliations
- Manage monthly flux and reconciliation process
- Manage external auditors for quarter reviews and annual audits
- Own the development and training of a group of staff
- Prepare and present monthly analysis of key performance indicators
- Be a representative for cross functional initiatives across finance and product initiatives
- You will be managing a team of 3-4 FTE and freelancers (offshore), hence excellent communication and organization skills is a must for this position
What it takes to catch our eye:
- CPA or CFA is a plus
- Marketplace or technology industry experience
- Treasury and banking background is a plus
- Full scale industry accounting experience including the management of month-end close
- Experience in a fast growing company
How to really knock our socks off:
- 3-5 years of big 4 experience
- 5-8 years of full scale industry accounting experience including month-end close, high volume reconciliation review, experience with Blackline, foreign exchange and intercompany transactions
- Combination of advanced individual contributor as well as development of large teams (task and career development)
- Experience with internet marketplace business, Oracle R12 and other system tools
- Fintech or banking experience is a plus
