Fraud Specialist
The Fraud Specialist plays an important role, identifying any suspicious activity that may be an indication of fraudulent behavior. We are looking for analytical experts who enjoy working with large amounts of transactional data. This individual will be mainly responsible for reviewing transactions and identifying trends to help us fight fraudulent activity. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and inquisitive.

What You'll Do:
- Gathers and analyzes appropriate transaction data from internal and third party systems
- Identifies problematic buyer and merchant behavior
- Analyzes and detects fraudulent patterns and trends
- Escalates trends and communicates improvement ideas
- Achieves quality standards for all relevant metrics
- Provides information to third party payment systems as required
- Works on other team and cross-functional projects as needed
Who You Are:
- Bachelor's degree required with Statistics, Accounting, or Math preferred
- 1-2 years of experience within Fraud or a related field
- Strong attention to detail and extremely thorough
- Ability to analyze patterns and trends and identify outliers
- Ability to maintain confidential information
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Open minded, collaborative, and personable
- Highly adaptable individual
- Strong communication skills, self-motivated, and results oriented
- Positive and able to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
Nice To Have:
