Head of GTM Finance

ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for a Director of Go-to-Market Finance to join our Strategic Finance team reporting to the Head of Strategic Finance. You will be a key member of the finance leadership team and help develop the GTM strategy in partnership with senior GTM leadership.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
- Partner with and be a thought leader to the VP Sales, VP Customer Experience and the VP Marketing to support the GTM business at Benchling
- Develop, monitor and analyze GTM KPIs and provide recommendations to leadership
- Work with Sales Operations to develop an ARR forecasting model leveraging drivers and data spanning from marketing to sales to implementation
- Forecast and manage revenue and expense for the GTM functions
- Deliver monthly/quarterly analysis of financial results including variances to plan, ensuring key issues, risks and business drivers are understood and highlighted
- Lead the full sales compensation cycle including plan design, commissions analysis, reporting and administration
- Develop and grow a high-performing team that supports the growing GTM teams
ABOUT YOU
- 10+ years of experience in a progressive financial role
- Sales Finance experience at a high-growth SaaS company
- Deep understanding of common SaaS metrics, P&L components and commercial functions
- Strong communication and analytical skills; experience presenting to senior leadership
- Pragmatic, curious, data-driven and results-oriented
