Carta is looking for a world-class Benefits Manager to lead the strategy, design, and administration of Carta’s global benefits programs. The Benefits Manager will oversee daily benefits operations and act as the primary liaison between employees and one of their most important resources, their benefits. 

Reporting to the Head of Global Rewards, you will partner closely with HR, Finance, and business leaders to build a benefits program that is competitive, impactful, and effective.

Responsibilities 

  • Own Carta’s global benefits strategy end to end
  • Act as the face of benefits with a strong focus on employee experience. Must skillfully navigate sensitive conversations with employees
  • Help employees and candidates navigate their benefits by creating easily understandable material for the internal intranet and perspective candidates
  • Design and execute a scalable, expeditious response strategy for inbound employee questions
  • Partner with our vendors, Legal and Finance teams to ensure the benefits programs are internationally compliant (Form 5500’s, SARs, SF HCSO, etc) and competitive
  • Manage vendor selection, on-boarding, contract review, performance review and implementation for in-region perks and benefits
  • Comfortable using HRIS systems such as ADP and Workday to perform benefits related administrative tasks
  • Build a strong partnership with our benefits broker to ensure Carta’s benefits programs are designed competitively and delivered efficiently and effectively

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience administering benefit plans
  • Strong project management and analytical skills
  • Strong presentation and communications skills
  • High attention to detail and organization
  • Ability to operate autonomously
  • Experience with HRIS systems
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Experience with international plans a plus (Canada and Brazil)
