We’re looking for an HR Systems, Operations and Analytics leader who has successfully led the development of HR technology strategies, objectives and roadmap along with People operations processes and analytics in a high growth, multi-location environment. This role will be responsible for the design, implementation and support of HR systems with the goal of leveraging technology and adopting best practices from benchmark companies to improve overall HR efficiency and client satisfaction. It will be essential for this person to have a strategic mind and hands-on attitude, with a focus on innovation, efficiency, simplicity and ease of use for managers, employees, and candidates.

This role reports to the VP, People Strategy & Systems.

What You Get To Do Every Day

  • Provide ongoing project planning, and support for recently implemented Workday including implementation of remaining compensation module. 
  • Plan and build a technology systems roadmap that integrates all vendors, technologies and systems with Workday as its core to maximize process efficiency and employee experience. 
  • Partner with People Team functions, IT, and Payroll to ensure technology, process and systems requirements are met and develop improvement strategies for areas of need. 
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition leadership to assess and optimize Greenhouse as the recruitment platform across the business. Define communication and training strategy and implementation. 
  • Serve as steward of user experience for People Team’s systems; monitor system adoption and user feedback; develop processes, tools, support materials, and training.
  • Provide leadership to ensure the effectiveness of processes for prioritizing system enhancements, new functionality, etc.
  • Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies (e.g. AI and ML) to enhance end-user productivity and employee experience, as well as to improve the capabilities and usability of existing systems.
  • Assess requirements for effective Recruiting Operations including areas such as workflow, immigration, background checks, relocation and internal job applications. Collaborate with a peer group to design and implement efficient processes including communication and training.
  • Design and deliver scalable and transferable onboarding processes to ensure new hires have a positive and value-add induction into the company.
  • Collaborate with People leadership on learning and career development processes, performance review and salary increase processes.
  • Develop People Analytics blueprint to refine approach to providing strategic insights to the People Team and business leaders. 
  • In collaboration with the business and People team leaders, define key metrics and lead design of information sharing. 
  • Empower PBPs and business leaders to access meaningful real-time data through appropriate and sustainable security protocols.

What You Bring To The Role

  • 10 + years’ relevant experience leading a high-performance HR Systems and Operations function in a multi-location, high growth environment
  • Strategic thinking and demonstrated ability to see the big picture, to understand and integrate disparate ideas and interests, and to develop a long-range vision and multi-year systems roadmap and innovative solutions
  • Strong problem-solving, planning, and execution skills, including a desire to roll up sleeves to prioritize work and meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with stakeholders from across functional areas, by creating collaborative relationships, establishing credibility, and motivating/influencing others
  • Demonstrated communication and change management skills, including the ability to effectively translate technical jargon/concepts for a lay audience, and to effectively and proactively inform, convince, influence, and educate executives, cross-functional stakeholders and team members
  • Experience managing major SaaS-based HRIS products with general familiarity with the future direction of these platforms and functionality likely in future releases
  • Solid understanding of HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT business processes and how they impact HR systems
  • Proven ability to translate business needs and requirements to actionable information usable in system configuration
  • Proven experience in partnering well with Finance, HR, and executives; collaborative style
  • Data driven and highly analytical

  • Relevant degree desired and MBA is preferred
