CircleCI is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our growing HR team. The HR coordinator role will provide operational and system administration support for various human resource programs and processes, ranging from onboarding to performance management to data management to employee support and outreach. You will respond to employee and internal requests and work through critical deadlines. Our ideal candidate has a customer (employee) focused mentality, is highly organized and detail oriented, highly collaborative and continually looking towards improvement. What you’ll do:

  • Responsible for ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for new hires.
    • Be the point of contact for new hires
    • Own the background check and I9 verification processes-be the primary point of contact for employment verifications.
    • Administer new employee onboarding including CCIU (CircleCI University) scheduling, coordination, and evaluation, assist in new hire travel, get new employees set up in all accounts, work with office manager/IT on coordination for new hires first day/week.
  • Respond to employee inquiries, requests on policies and processes, and employment verification.
  • Drafting/Administering compensation documentation to employees 
  • Maintain confidential employee data and files in HRIS and other applications, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Track all employment changes/updates within our Namely HRIS platform. Administer offboarding process and other employment changes
  • Collaborate with the HR & Finance teams, hiring managers and employees company-wide 
  • Assisting the HR team with various projects and initiatives as needed
  • Constantly look for ways to automate and improve processes
  • Provide top-notch customer service and support

What we're looking for:

  • 2+ years in the human resources function with understanding of general HR policies and procedures
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Strong desire to learn and problem solve in a fast-paced environment
  • Superior organizational skills, attention to detail, and integrity
  • Ability to think proactively and analytically
  • Resourceful and self-sufficient
  • System savvy. Demonstrated experience working with HRIS and other HR applications
  • Bachelor’s degree or other equivalent experience
