As HOVER’s HR Manager, you will work with HOVER's People team to develop and improve HR policies and initiatives as well as support one of our departments as an HR Business Partner. You will also own a piece of our compliance strategy and manage our payroll inputs.

You will contribute by:

You will play a key role on the People team by helping us create thoughtful benefit offerings for employees. You will be in charge of all inputs and changes for payroll and manage employee data via our HRIS. You will work with managers on employee growth plans, performance, and HR issues if they arise as well as create resources and trainings for managers to ensure best practices. As a pillar of our team, you will help us improve our people processes and contribute to existing and new HR initiatives. 

Your background includes:  

  • 5-8 years of professional experience in an HR role or similar field
  • Experience working in high-growth technology companies with teams in multiple states
  • Experience with HRIS and payroll systems - We currently use ADP and BambooHR
  • HRBP experience 
  • Understanding of HR concepts and employment law
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Analytical skills
  • Willingness to jump in and problem solve
  • Desire to learn and grow
  • HR certification is a plus
