We are looking for a talented HR Operations Specialist, who will ensure an amazing employee experience through operational and administrative efficiency.

In this role, you will become an integral part of the People Team. We are looking to add a dynamic, hands-on specialist to help us grow our innovative and unique culture while we scale as a company. In addition, you will own our Onboarding Program while having the opportunity to participate in the design and implementation of future people programs.

What you'll do

• Run our Onboarding Program, be the point of contact on all thing related to onboarding!
• Manage the onboarding steps associated with transitioning candidates to new hires, including welcome emails, background check administration, IT and Facilities logistics, onboarding instructions, I-9s, system date entry, etc. while partnering with key stakeholders and communicating directly with our new hires.
• Conduct New Hire Orientation. 
• Maintain HR process documentation, templates, and participate in the developing of training content.
• Partner with Finance on equity program tracking.
• Enter employment changes and ensure data in Paylocity and other HR systems is accurate, timely and maintained.
• Monitor and approve HR related employee change requests in Paylocity.
• Partner with Payroll on employee pay related issues.
• Complete verification of employment for current and previous employees.
• Prepare weekly census report, and monthly turnover report. Analyze HR data sets as requested.
• Be the front-line face for daily employee support in answering general HR questions.
• Provide HR administrative support as needed.
• Provide HR support on special projects such as Open Enrollment, Performance Management, HR Compliance.
• Other ad-hoc activities and HR projects as needed, or if you are interested to learn!

What you have

• 1-3 years supporting People Operations, HR, or Recruiting functions at a rapidly growing company
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong dedication to proactive customer service and support; you will be one of the first points of contact for our new hires’ experience at Vicarious
• Experience in HRIS administration
• Motivation to scale HR programs and people operations systems at a rapidly growing company
• Experience gathering and analyzing feedback to inform changes
• Compassionate, empathetic, and tactful communication skills
• Self-starter attitude, able to work on a team or autonomously
• An ability to appropriately handle confidential and sensitive information
• Creative problem-solving abilities

• Experience with benefit administration
• Experience with immigration and employment laws
• Experience designing and rolling out people programs
