We are looking for big thinkers and hard workers to help us uncover and enable those rare few that are Vunglers at heart!  We are seeking a People (HR) Business Partner to deliver a full-spectrum of strategic and tactical people solutions for our employee population in the United States. As the go to business partner to leadership and all employees you will be embedded with our team in San Francisco and also support our other US office in Los Angeles and employees in New York.  These offices are comprised of Operations, Sales, and Engineering teams.  The incumbent will also partner with the rest of the People team globally and business leaders to create impactful solutions for career mobility, employee engagement, total rewards, company culture and other organizational and people programs and initiatives. 

Responsibilities:

• Develop a strong understanding of the business in order to recommend organizational and people approaches, policies and solutions to maximize organizational effectiveness in the context of company goals and strategy 
• Create and drive employee engagement initiatives
• Coach and mentor talent at the individual contributor and leadership levels
• Partner with the rest of the People team and leadership to create and drive implementation of employee relations, talent acquisition, retention and reward programs and approaches 

Preferred Experience:

• Minimum Bachelor Degree and 10 years of experience as a generalist with at least 5 of those years in a business partner role
• Active listener with a passion for creating solutions that drive positive results.
• Strong bias for action and ability to see projects to completion.
• Excellent project management, written and verbal communication skills.  
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
• Experience with organizational development, training, coaching or similar.
• Sound knowledge of employment law, employee relations, benefits and compensation.
• Experience working for a high growth technology driven company
• Experience with BambooHR, Reflektive, Glint, Greenhouse or similar HR Platforms 
• HR experience in other global geographies
