Learning & Development Specialist

What You'll Do

  • Critical partner in supporting learning and development for our people at Fastly by working and communicating cross functionally with other departments, managing the L & D calendar, and managing our internal wiki presence
  • Build on the success of current programs, and support new initiatives 
  • Manage our onboarding experience including facilitation, improving content and process for scalability 
  • Manage and support our Learning Management System (LMS),
    Bridge, including updating, enhancing and curating content for our program library
  • Track and evaluate our L & D experiences, and surface trends to support changes to improve future L&D experiences and content
  • Help build awareness and enthusiasm around People and Learning & Development brand and initiatives

What We're Looking For

  • Must be located in San Francisco 
  • 2 - 4 years of experience working on an HR or related team
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Problem solver (or Executor) - be able to actively find a solution efficiently and proactively
  • Organized with an ability to manage multiple projects - bonus is have experience with program or project management
  • Ability to navigate Google suite of products with ease - bonus if can make slick and snazzy slide decks
  • Experience with an LMS is a plus
  • You’re detail-oriented, and might be known to spot a typo in the NY Times or see that one item out of place in a room
  • Interest in and exposure to Learning & Development
  • Interest in providing engaging people experiences through supporting programs, designing, and facilitating
