The Role:


Chorus is looking for a dynamic People Operations Business Partner to add to our incredible People Operations team. Our team is focused on creating the culture and systems that empower our employees to be the best version of themselves. We are a growing company, with an incredible product, and exceptional employees. We are looking for a People Ops Business Partner who will support the day to day needs of our US teams, while also leading and supporting global projects. The work you do will help take our People Ops service to the next level. Whether it’s coaching new managers, facilitating training opportunities, or creating a new recognition program, you’re on it! This role can be based in San Francisco, Boston, or Salt Lake City and it will report directly into the Head of People Ops.

What You'll Do:

  • Build The Structure - Assist with the ongoing development, implementation, and coordination of HR policies, programs, and systems (This role is not about running the plays from your standard corporate handbook, you’ll need to think outside of the box here)
  • Plan For Our Future - Participate in the ongoing development and implementation of employee retention, succession, and workforce planning
  • Ensure We Are At Our Best - Help elevate our employee engagement and performance feedback programs
  • Support Our Managers - Coach and advise our people managers on everything from change management, employee relations, team engagement, and more
  • Bring A DEI Mindset - partner on our ongoing programs to increase the diversity of our workforce and ensure a culture of inclusion and belonging within our teams 
  • Help Us Learn - Facilitate the coordination of training, compliance efforts, and professional development events
  • Socialize With Us - Manage our US Office Manager and help drive initiatives to keep our teams connected through employee events, gatherings, and activities

What you Bring to the Table:

  • At least 5+ years of proven, progressive HR experience in a fast moving and high growth startup environment 
  • Experience using Zenefits, CultureAmp, or other similar HR systems is a plus
  • Superior understanding of the importance of maintaining confidentiality
  • Ability to interact with employees at all levels of the organization
  • Outstanding project management and communication skills
  • The ability to manage multiple competing priorities and to constantly re-prioritize
  • An extremely high sense of urgency and an outstanding focus on customer service
  • A sense of humor and the ability to strike up a conversation with anyone
