People Systems Manager - Workday
ABOUT THE ROLE :
Udemy is seeking a People Systems Manager to join our People Team. The People Systems Manager is a new role that will be responsible for leading the team in leveling up our systems, primarily focusing on Workday. The ideal candidate has solid Workday HCM core experience and loves helping teams work smarter through technology!
Here's what you'll be doing:
- Partner with other People Operations functions to optimize business processes in Workday and ensure proper utilization.
- Plan and drive integrations with benefit carriers, vendors and other internal systems.
- Develop process for and oversee administration of security roles across People Team systems.
- Partner with People Operations and People Partners on the design, implementation, resources and training on Workday employee/manager self-service initiatives.
- Develop a core set of Workday reports and dashboards along with supporting documentation for People Team users.
- Lead the technical side of implementation for new Recruiting, Total Rewards, People Ops and Learning systems.
- Support People Team functions with RFP processes and best practices when evaluating new systems.
- Manage configuration of cyclical People Team processes including but not limited to: benefits open enrollment, compensation reviews, engagement surveys, payroll year-end, performance reviews.
- Establish proactive relationships with stakeholders and provide ongoing recommendations on how to best take advantage of their systems.
- Implement best practices in scoping, configuring and documenting changes in People Team systems.

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a similar role
- 3+ years of experience configuring Workday
- 5+ years of HRIS experience
- Experience project managing integrations
- Ability to establish strong relationships with a variety of business functions
- Passion for building processes that scale
- Experience leading and developing team members
