But we’re just getting started.  We cannot achieve our mission without the contributions of a diverse group of empowered employees. We’re looking for a Program Manager to lead our DEIB efforts. 

What excites you

  • In partnership with Leadership and the Head of People, develop Plaid’s DEIB strategy, and streamlining all internal efforts toward our goals
  • Inspire and engage Plaids around our DEIB work and its importance to our mission
  • Plan, set and manage Plaid’s DEIB budget 
  • Co-create and guide Plaid’s Community Group charter, goals, activities, and success, providing program management support and ensuring alignment with our overall mission 
  • Develop and lead all DEIB training at Plaid including Bias training and PCG Leadership development programs 
  • Partner with Plaid’s People and Recruiting team to create and disseminate frameworks, resources, programs, external partnerships and trainings for Plaid to hire and retain a diverse group of employees 
  • In partnership with the People team, set metrics for measuring and improving DEIB program impact including retention, belonging and promotion of diverse talent Identify trends and leverage knowledge, data and competitive intelligence to develop creative, customized diversity strategies 
  • Manage Plaid’s community engagement and volunteer programs 
  • Assist in the creation of Plaid’s annual CSR report 
  • Develop and programmatically own Plaid’s flagship DEIB programs

What excites us

  • 5+ years of experience in program management, ideally in DEIB, People, and/or at a Nonprofit or another community based organization working with underrepresented groups 
  • Desire to bring stakeholders along in our DEIB journey no matter their starting point
  • Ability to champion and drive a broad group of cross-functional teams towards a coherent long-term vision, which often means saying “no” or “not right now”
  • Clear, concise verbal and written communication skills
  • Clear passion for, awareness and understanding of, the complexities of diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging
