Senior People Data and Reporting Analyst

As the Senior People Data and Reporting Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring that the Human Resources Systems are meeting the needs of Fastly, handling vast amounts of data, ensuring data correctness, completeness, accuracy and integrity.

What You'll Do

  • Create, build, maintain and innovate a controlled approach to managing People master data for various HR and Compensation-related audits (Job Codes, Job Titles, Job Levels, EEO etc.) across multiple system(s) and data set(s)
  • Perform complex data analysis across multiple disparate and variable people data sets of content and quality through examination and evaluation of source HR systems (e.g., Bridge, Culture Amp, Ultipro, etc)
  • Owns Data entry/maintenance into Ultipro (HRIS) and assure data integrity of HR information
  • Partner with HR and Compensation team members to review HR and Compensation-related data and update incorrect or missing information in various source HR systems
  • Partner with People Operations, HRIS-Enterprise Systems, IT, Recruiting, Business Partners and HR to audit and correct employee record level fields in HRIS (e.g., Ultipro) on a regularly scheduled cadence
  • Partner with HRIS and Enterprise Systems team to create HR and Compensation data upload files for various source systems, when necessary
  • Continuously improve HR and Compensation-owned data fields to help achieve department goals
  • Lead HR team through HR data management and analysis activities providing data analysis support and subject matter expertise to HR team members when needed (Compensation data requests, market pricing, compensation surveys, employee surveys, attrition reporting etc.)
    • Proofing, auditing, and merging data for analysis in Microsoft Excel
    • Assist with annual 5500 filings, non-discrimination testing, reporting, and plan audits
    • Provide ad-hoc reporting, design dashboards & analytics, and validate data
  • Own HR System(s) reporting including scheduled reports), business process maintenance, security administration, data loads and data audits. (Systems to include: Bridge, Culture Amp, Ultipro etc)
  • Evaluate incoming requests from HR, Finance, IT and other groups, identify appropriate solutions and execute on them (e.g. support Compensation Committee, C-Staff and Board-level metrics and reporting needs)
  • Identify functional gaps in existing HR processes or operations when business needs change and provide solutions in partnership with HRIS-Enterprise Systems team and Recruiting Operations
  • Develop and maintain monthly People Dashboard and Metrics

What We're Looking For

  • 7-10 years of functional and technical knowledge of HR Systems, including deep knowledge of HRIS reporting, security, data management and people analytics best practices
  • Experience performing data loads and audits of complicated data sets maintaining HRIS business processes
  • Functional working knowledge of HR and Payroll processes a plus
  • Expert in Gsuite, specifically in Excel required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Advanced critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Audit experience preferred
  • Ability to prioritize work and deliver in a fast-paced environment
