Our Recruiting Team is focused building DoorDash one quality hire at a time. We partner closely with our hiring teams to design and execute recruiting strategies that enable us to hire remarkable talent in the most efficient and unbiased ways.

Our focus areas are:

  • CONSULTATIVE STRATEGY--We partner with hiring teams to design fully baked sourcing, closing and processes to consistently attract and hire the right talent while up-leveling within our organizations.
  • CANDIDATE EXPERIENCE--A candidate’s experience starts with the first reach-out and ends extends all the way till their last contact. We are all owners of this experience and believe one piece does not exist with one individual. Similar to how we are delivering a first in class experience with our customers ordering on our platform, we are also pushing the boundaries, daily, to deliver the best possible recruiting experience to all candidates. 
  • QUALITY OF HIRE--We are a true partner in hiring; it's our job to help managers ensure we take a structured approach to hiring to ensure we are hiring only the best for DoorDash. We act as not an extension of the teams we support, but as direct members and owners of success they will have based on each individual who joins them each week. 

About the Role

The DoorDash sales organization is seeing some of its biggest growth to date! We are in need of a Sr. Recruiter to join and 1) help us scale by rethinking how we attract talent and 2) help us continue to evolve the consultative methods we implore when partnering with our hiring teams. In this role you could support a variety of teams under the sales umbrella including, but not limited to, Business Development, Inside Sales, Outside Sales and Enterprise.

This is a unique opportunity to build hiring processes from scratch, create proactive sourcing strategies while layering in diversity, and act as a strategic thought partner to our sales leaders. This role will report into the Sr. Sales Recruiting Manager.

  • Draw upon your recruiting background to identify and manage candidates throughout the hiring process, from initial contact through offer acceptance.
  • Act as a recruiting consultant to business partners on hiring strategies, sourcing strategies and initiatives aimed to help us hire quality talent at scale. The business groups we support are seeking a partner and have given us a seat at the table - it’s up to you to take it and join them.
  • Use data and industry/market trends to provide regular hiring updates and reporting to functional business leaders that help influence the future direction of the organization.
  • Ensure candidate tracking is up to date and compliant in our ATS (Greenhouse).
  • Maintain professional and courteous communication with candidates to foster long-term relationships. Would a candidate refer a friend even after you had to let them know they were not selected for a role? 
  • Be the face of DoorDash to our amazing candidates!

  • You have 5+ years of full-cycle, non-technical recruiting experience.
  • Previous sales recruiting experience or previous experience working in sales strongly preferred.
  • You’re metrics-driven - you use data to help guide your decisions and support your business recommendations.

  • You’re growth-minded -for both yourself and those around you; you insist on leaving work 1% better each day.
