The Manager of Talent Sourcing will be accountable for developing and driving our sourcing strategy to support strong and diverse pipelines at all levels of the DoorDash Product, Design, and Analytics organizations. As a leader, this role will act as a strategic partner to hiring managers across DoorDash to attract top tech talent and will align the team to deliver against our bold and dynamic hiring plans.  

What You’ll Achieve

• Lead and develop a team of sourcers focused on Product, Design, and Analytics
• Develop the strategy for growing and delivering diverse candidate pipelines
• Lead the strategy and implementation for our inclusion & diversity initiatives by developing thoughtful partnerships with organizations focused on underrepresented talent
• Manage and improve sourcing processes, systems, tools, goals/KPIs, and metrics
• Research, assess and recommend new sourcing tools and technologies
• Develop and lead Recruiting Channel strategy, which is the identification and coordination of all channels that deliver talent into our recruiting process, including research, lead generation, sourcing, referral generation, agencies, and sourcing tools
• Lead a team responsible for direct outreach to passive candidates and direct sourcing from competitive companies
• Maintain pipelines of qualified diverse candidates to deliver against immediate, high-priority openings
• Build an individual recruiting brand, maintaining long-term relationships with key individuals in the talent communities we target to eventually pursue for future openings
• Experiment and take risks to drive innovative and creative solutions
• Provide direction and consultation on emerging trends impacting and influencing attraction and acquisition within critical talent segments
• Deliver on-going reports that track results, impact, and cost-effectiveness.  Use the information to detect trends/insights and adjust the strategy to optimize impact

Qualifications

• 10+ years of recruiting and/or strategic sourcing experience with at least 4+ years  directly managing high-performing teams within high-growth technology companies
• Prior IC sourcing or management of a team of sourcers in the product and/or design domain
• Deep understanding of the sourcing discipline and possess extensive experience building and delivering high-impact sourcing strategies that deliver meaningful results
• Demonstrated expertise in passive candidate activation and engagement strategies
• Ability to use data and analytics to develop insights and influence decisions
• Exceptional communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation)
