The Role
We are looking for an experienced and talented Technical Sourcer. As our first Technical Sourcer, you will own and execute sourcing for our technical teams. You will demonstrate your ability to get creative and find extraordinary talent through conventional and unconventional means. You will partner with recruiting and hiring managers to understand priorities, playing a critical part in building the top of funnel. As the first person that candidates interacts with, you will share Digit’s mission with charisma. You will be expected to communicate effectively with your candidates, build relationships with your recruiters and hiring teams, and demonstrate a quality of work that goes beyond expectations.
Here are some ways you’ll make an impact:

  • Build a pipeline of top talent through multiple sourcing channels
  • Partner closely with hiring teams and recruiters to advise on market trends, and gain a deep, holistic understanding of our business and assigned roles
  • Qualify and engage technical candidates for open technical roles
  • Create and execute innovative sourcing strategies and recruiting campaigns
  • Diligently track the progress of leads/candidates
  • Analyze candidate pipeline and performance data to share with internal stakeholders
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies to build a robust candidate pipeline for niche engineering roles
  • Identify talent by using various sourcing techniques (i.e. Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, Github, etc.)
  • Report pipeline and candidate activity to various stakeholders
  • Maintain a pipeline of leads and identify future opportunities that could align with the candidate’s interests and business needs
  • Be the face of Digit to our amazing candidates! Maintain professional and courteous communication with candidates to foster long-term relationships
  • Source both active and passive candidates utilizing creative strategies and techniques
  • Ensure a high level of data integrity with our ATS (Greenhouse) and other tools and systems

Are you the candidate we are looking for? (Requirements for the role)
You have:

  • 2+ years of technical sourcing experience in a startup or agency environment
  • Technology knowledge (different coding languages/technical stacks/terminology)
  • Experience working with a building sourcing strategies with Recruiters and hiring managers
  • A passion for building diverse teams
  • A clear and effective communication style, and the ability to tailor your message to different audiences
  • A candidate-centric attitude and drive to provide incredible experiences for every person we interact with
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; you build trust easily
  • A growth mindset and flexibility
