About your team

The Product team is responsible for turning our promising technology into a real world success. Product at Ike is a multi-disciplinary group that includes functional teams across Product Management, Business Development & Strategy, Policy, and Marketing.

About your role

We are looking for a Summer 2020 Business Strategy MBA Intern to work with Ike’s leadership on a handful of critical projects to help inform Ike’s product launch and partnerships strategy. This is an ideal role to gain exposure to partnerships, business development, product development, and commercial strategy for a rapidly growing startup. For high-performing interns, there is also the potential to more actively support “live” technology and commercial partnerships in addition to other ad hoc projects from the broader Product team. This position reports to Ike’s Head of Business Development and Strategy, but will be expected to work closely with functional leaders across the company.

About your work

• Conduct primary and secondary research to deliver a recommendation to Ike’s leadership team on a strategy for our commercial launch. Scope of the project will be communicated during the first week of the internship.
• Develop a view on the universe of strategic partners for Ike
• Build financial models and presentations to help inform cross-functional business model decisions for potential product partnerships and product management decisions
• Assist the broader Product and Engineering teams with short-term ad hoc strategy projects

About you

• Pre-MBA functional experience in consulting, product management, corporate development or strategy, law, investments, operations, supply chain, and/or investment banking
• Experience working at, or advising in a professional services capacity, a technology, logistics, infrastructure/real assets, and/or transportation company
• Strong financial modeling and presentation skills
• Previous roles in Product Management, Business Development/Partnerships, or Corporate Strategy at a startup
