With millions of individual packages shipped daily, The Wish logistics team plays an integral role in the overall success of the company by managing the processing, fulfillment and distribution of all goods sold on Wish.
We are looking for a highly motivated business operations analyst intern to help streamline and improve logistics operations processes for Wish’s global supply chain by using analytical skill and technology to achieve centralized visibility and operational management. You’ll identify bottlenecks and find new opportunities to maximize the value for Wish by providing insights, managing innovative supply chain processes, building efficient supply chain networks, and premium fulfillment services to ensure quality delivery for every Wish customer.
What you'll be doing:
Provide analytical support to the senior team in the development of various supply chain-driven initiatives and assist Wish logistics in achieving their short and long-term business strategy.
Assist in creating policies or procedures for logistics activities. Plan or implement best practices to internal or external logistics systems or processes.
Identifies and implements initiatives to reduce operation inefficiency within the logistics by utilizing supply chain operations techniques to build improvement plans;
Working with key vendors to develop business solutions; assessing key performance indicators; establishing project objectives.
Building accountability for and measuring progress in achieving results; identifying and addressing improvement opportunities;and demonstrating adaptability and promoting continuous learning.
Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders;supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs
Available full-time (40 hours/week) for Jan to June 2021, This position includes the opportunity to become a formal part of Wish team.
Enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelors or Masters degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, Business Administration, or related fields.
Excellent at communicating through written, verbal and visual channels, Ability to read, write and speak Mandarin Chinese
Strong analytical skills and strong problem-solving capabilities.
Working proficiency with Office Suits (Powerpoints, Excel,etc), Demonstrated analytical horsepower (gather, manipulate, analyze, interpret and present data)
Tableau, Power BI, SQL is a plus
Retail/eCommerce industry experience is a plus.
