Growth and Strategy Intern - Drive

We’re looking for a growth minded leader to help launch and scale strategic projects.

We’re looking for an analytical and highly-motivated summer intern to help build out our DoorDash Drive Growth & Marketing strategy. At Doordash, Drive is the last-mile logistics platform that powers delivery for large national restaurants like Chipotle, Wingstop, and Chili’s. (Think:  burritos ordered from the Chipotle app are delivered by DoorDash Drive). 

In this role, you’ll define our partner growth strategy including programs, tactics and campaigns that acquire and engage customers to sustainably grow our client’s delivery channels. This is an ideal role for a candidate who is looking to blend analytic rigor with creative strategy to build high-impact playbooks.  The DoorDash Drive Team is lean and fast-moving, meaning you’ll have immediate opportunity to take ownership and drive major impact on a rapidly-growing space within an exciting brand. 

What You’ll Do

• Strategize.  From first principles, you’ll develop the optimal strategy to help our partners grow their native delivery channels. 

• Experiment. Create and execute a framework to implement, monitor, test, optimize growth programs, channels and campaigns. 

• Analyze.  Assess the ROI and effectiveness of your programs and iterate based on data. 
• Scale learnings. Establish best practices and organizational efficiencies for how to effectively grow our Drive Partnerships. Develop new initiatives, strategies and programs to help increase the team’s productivity

About You

• You solve problems from first principles.  You’re excited to solve problems in innovative ways, and you resist “this is how it’s always been done” thinking.
• You’re equally comfortable operating at 10,000 feet and 1 foot.  You don’t hesitate to get in the weeds and operate at the lowest level of detail, but you’re just as comfortable thinking long-term. No job is beneath you.
• You’re unafraid of ambiguity.  Rapid change and learning is exciting to you, and you thrive in ambiguous, startup environments
• You’re analytical.  You let data win arguments, and you’re comfortable pulling your own data in SQL or modeling in Excel.
• You’ve succeeded in high-performance cultures. Whether in tech, operations, strategy, consulting, banking, or a related experience.

Must Haves

• Candidates of MBA degrees are preferred
• Experience in marketing or growth
