- Drive and participate in usability focused security initiatives for Security products
- Also independently to build smaller, targeted, improvements into existing frameworks and tools
- Interview with engineers and participate in engineering team exercises to understand their workflows
- Report back and summarize with team, turn observations into projects and initiatives that make doing security easier
- Work as part of a security focused engineering team to bring those projects to life
- Drive own initiatives with support from engineers and manager
What you must have:
- Pursuing a B.A./B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Security, or similar field
- You have experience in developing in go-lang and/or python (preferably both, big plus if you can share an active repository with projects and examples)
- You have basic/foundational knowledge of common security concepts (such as authentication & authorization, hashing, encryption)
- You have some familiarity with using GitHub
- You’ve worked in or have some familiarity with GCP (Google Cloud) or AWS
- You’ve developed on Kubernetes
- Eager to learn new concepts
- Passionate about usability
