The Talent and Development Intern will play an active role in carrying out our team mission, which is to provide insights, opportunities, access, and resources that spark our people's growth and development. You’ll be joining a diverse global team of consultants, specialists, and technologists. In this role, you’ll partner closely with the Talent and Development team by gaining exposure, experiences, and a deeper understanding of the Talent and Development function and its impact on the growth of Unity. You will have opportunities to engage and build relationships with business leaders and HR partners to discover and understand their learning needs and challenges. You’ll help the Talent and Development team design and implement solutions that bring meaningful, sustainable solutions and change. Lastly, you’ll have an opportunity to improve the team’s existing processes and communications. 

Responsibilities

  • Combine, analyze, evaluate, and summarize data from various sources such as engagement surveys, employee reports, training surveys, etc
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative research, interpret the findings, and make recommendations to the Talent and Development team
  • Research and present trends, practices, and theories associated with leadership, management, organizational behavior, and organizational theory to the Talent and Development team
  • Provide operational programs support, assist with improving existing processes and other special projects as needed

Requirements 

  • Current student pursuing a degree in Organizational Development, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, or equivalent and returning to the degree program after completing the internship for at least one semester.
  • Experience with analytics and a knowledge of research methods
  • Intellectual curiosity with the ability to learn and distill new information quickly
  • Excellent organization, verbal & written communication skills 
  • Highly Interested in learning and listening to diverse perspectives
