Turo is looking for an Acquisition Marketing Specialist to help further fuel its quickly-growing top of funnel guest audience. The ideal candidate is data-driven, with a passion for creating scalable, high-impact methodologies that deliver user growth. In this role, you will help the Guest Marketing Team develop the strategy, develop audience targeting, manage third-party vendor relationships, and partner with cross-functional constituents to execute acquisition plans. You are detail-oriented, self-motivated, and curious about testing new channels. 

Let’s talk specifics:

Responsibilities: 

  • Manage Online Travel Agency (OTA) and search channels
  • Develop, execute, and measure incremental, ROI-positive strategies
  • Own paid acquisition campaigns from start to finish: execute against channel strategy, oversee creative optimization, and optimize with focus on ROI and ARPU
  • Collaborate with creative and marketing teams to optimize creatives, messages and develop compelling advertising campaigns. Develop A/B testing programs to maximize acquisition efforts
  • Generate performance reports for management. Create and present review and action plans to drive user growth based on your analytical insights
  • Brief the internal content and design teams on campaign strategy, and own the creative feedback and approval process
  • Partner with finance and analytics leads to determine campaign impact, and ensuring that you are delivering our budget and growth targets
  • Manage the relationship with third-party channel partners -- both in the OTA and search channel industries
  • Effectively communicate the strategy, objectives, and performance results cross-functionally and with leadership
  • Report into Manager, Marketing Acquisition

Requirements: 

  • 1-3 years of experience in Marketing or Marketing Analytics
  • Understanding of dual-marketplace and acquisition on at least one side (preferably guest or end-user)
  • Experience using data, analytics, and metrics to drive business results
  • Experience managing performance marketing campaigns across digital channels. SEM preferred
  • Familiarity with or ability to quickly learn web/marketing analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, AppsFlyer, Optimizely, Looker)
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Comfortable and prefer operating in a fast-paced environment
  • BA/BS in Business/Marketing, Economics, and/or Math & Statistics
  • Bonus: Proficiency with relational databases and/or SQL
