General Purpose: The Digital Marketing Analyst is an individual contributer and will be responsible to:
- Create reporting, dashboards and analytical insights to the digital business on marketing channels, site funnel, and overall sales and profit growth
Position Summary, Responsibilities and Expectations:
- Build digestible reports, dashboards, and visualizations for the digital marketing team, monitor and understand performance among key KPIs, and convey insights that tell an actionable story
- Make segments more actionable by categorizing existing customers and prospects into a segment based on known data and/or interactions with Corsair – this analysis will serve as foundation for CDP
- Provide reporting on CDP activation for marketing campaigns
- Ensure segments are aligned with digital marketing business strategies
- Partner with digital marketing to own demand generation analytics and customer data/segmentation to drive performance via actionable insights
- Devleop and support digital marketing experiemenation program via landing page optimization
- Identify technical and strategic gaps and proactively create best-in-class solutions (landing page and funnel testing, customer journey analysis, segmentation analysis, pricing, etc.)
- Become an expert on all aspects of Corsair’s data and analytics infrastructure
- Report to Director, Analytics
Essential Skills and Experience:
- 2-4+ years in digital marketing analytics or customer analytics, particularly for D2C brands
- BA/BS in a mathematics, statistics, Finance, or other quantitative field
- Strong understanding of marketing channels business strategy (SEO, SEM, Email, Affiliate,etc.) (Required)
- Understanding of site performance and eCommerce conversion KPI and their levers
- Understanding of web analytics platform - Google Analytics, and marketing attribution (Required)
- Knowledge of Google Analytics UTM tracking
- Strong grasp of statistics and experience conducting rigorous data analyses
- Experience retrieving/summarizing transactional data sets and integrating those data with customer and merchandise data to develop new insights
- Experience with a range of analytical tools and data visualization tools (PowerBI preferred)
- SQL experience preferred
- Ability to “dive under the hood”: strong analytical deduction and diagnostic ability to find and solve problems
- Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively across audiences at varying levels of the organization
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex analytical concepts clearly and persuasively across audiences at varying levels of the organization
- Experience and understanding of a CDP tool, particularly mParticle
