Carrot Fertility is excited to add an accomplished Content Marketer passionate about guiding people through their family-forming journeys.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop materials that educate and inform Carrot members going through family-forming journeys at every stage and on multiple platforms — earned and owned media, social media, email, and other materials. You’ll also partner with our Clinical and Care Navigation teams to produce content that engages and educates members on healthcare treatments and complex family-forming journeys, so healthcare knowledge is critical.

The role will report to Carrot’s Director of Growth.
Responsibilities
- Drive high-quality, high-velocity production of content, including blog posts, podcast and video scripts/storyboards, guides, member stories, marketing emails, etc.
- Create and edit content to target, reach, and nurture different segments of the Carrot membership
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to identify compelling stories, create educational materials for a variety of audiences, and establish new pathways for the collection and promotion of content
- Partner with Clinical and Care Navigation teams to distill medical journal articles and complex benefits information into engaging content pieces that educate Carrot members about fertility care and family-forming services
- Partner with internal teams to effectively optimize and distribute content (through social media, organic search, paid placement, email campaigns, etc.)
- Partner with Content Marketing lead on social media strategy and execution
- Report on content effectiveness, using metrics to refine content strategy and copy and partnering with the growth team in testing
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of marketing experience, preferably in health care
- Exceptional writing skills that allow you to be prolific, speedy, and consistent across channels and assets
- Ability to distill academic research and complex data into digestible pieces
- Familiarity with social media, content, SEO, and email marketing tools, such as Buffer and Marketo
- Experience with multimedia content creation (video, audio) is a plus
- Comfort with the ambiguity inherent in a fast-paced startup environment
- Experience with benefits is a plus but not required
- Ability to blend marketing art and science to deliver impactful, data-driven results
