Content Marketing Manager

Meraki is looking for a Content Marketing Manager to help Meraki build and enhance thought leadership in the IT industry through compelling and engaging content. We are looking for a world-class communicator, writer, and storyteller who can systematically turn ideas into effective marketing assets across multiple channels and succinctly communicate what matters most to key audiences. You should embrace a player-coach role to educate the team on content best practices, while also crafting engaging content on your own. Working cross-functionally with teams of subject matter, design, and go-to-market experts, you will be systematizing the development and review of high-value content, as well as helping to prioritize content and maintain consistency. You should also be results oriented and metrics focused with an eye towards optimizing content for lead conversion.
What you will do:
- Assist in driving the adoption of content marketing best practices and proven strategies across the marketing organization
- Partner with integrated marketing team to build and evolve content marketing plans to achieve identified goals across multiple campaigns
- Collaborate with writers, design resources, video producers, as well as product and audience marketers to produce high-quality content
- Maintain and enforce a framework for planning, writing, editing, and producing content, including management of corporate style guide and asset templates
- Deliver engaging content on a regular basis and mentor and encourage team members to do the same
- Edit, proofread, and improve content from all internal and external content creators
- Receive customer and sales feedback and generate ideas to increase customer engagement
- Organize, audit, and update existing content
You have:
- Proven work experience as a content marketer, journalist, or communications manager
- 4 to 5 years of experience in the high-tech industry
- Proficiency in Word Press and content management software
- Good time-management skills with the ability to meet deadlines consistently
- Ability to multi-task and keep up in a fast-paced environment
- Strong writing, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Critical thinking and problem solving abilities
