About the team:

The Content Marketing team is a part of the larger Corporate Marketing organization at Sift. We create compelling, timely, relevant content that not only converts but educates Sift’s target audience on the value and importance of Digital Trust & Safety. We’re building a new market category, and as the architects of Sift’s voice, tone, and messaging, the Content Marketing team is at the forefront of this mission.

What We’re Looking For:

Sift is looking for a Content Marketing Manager to join the growing Marketing team.

The ideal candidate will develop a deep understanding of our target audiences, the fraud and abuse landscape, and Sift technology—and use that knowledge to tell compelling stories that build brand awareness and thought leadership.

What you’ll do:

  • Ideate, research, write and edit content for the industry-leading Sift blog with a focus on educating the market, increasing brand awareness and driving demand
  • Execute on the content strategy and work as part of the content marketing team to develop, create, and promote long-form offerings including ebooks, guides, infographics, etc. that increase engagement and drive leads
  • Cross-team collaboration on marketing programs, including vertical-specific campaigns and larger launch initiatives, called Strikes
  • Interview customers and develop case studies that support the sales team
  • Work with our team of world-class Trust & Safety Architects to identify relevant and timely industry topics, influencers, and subject-matter experts to aid in content creation
  • Identify potential guests and help produce the Trust & Safety in Numbers podcast  

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of content marketing, writing, and/or editorial experience in Enterprise SaaS, data and analytics, or the fraud prevention space
  • Excellent writer, researcher, and interviewer—you can tell stories and communicate technical concepts to a wide variety of audiences without using jargon
  • Organized and self-motivated with the ability to define goals and prioritize work based on what’s most impactful to the business and our target audience
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices, content categorization, distribution, promotion, and measurement

Bonus:

  • Interest in fraud, payments, security, or machine learning technology
  • Experience with WordPress
  • Familiarity with audio recording/editing software
