**Considering US-based remote candidates**

We’re looking for a Content Writer to bring Evidation’s research and approach to health engagement to life through storytelling. You will develop compelling long and short form content that communicates the essence and importance of Evidation’s work to a variety of audiences. This includes writing customer communications for life science enterprises that tell the story of our core product offerings in order to shape the market, drive brand recognition, grow our relevance and mindshare in the healthcare ecosystem. You will write articles and blogs for lay audiences that generate interest from consumers and patients that drive enrollment and retention in Evidation’s Achievement community and health engagement programs.

This role is project-based contract work with the possibility for long-term engagement.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop scientific communications and marketing communications copy for our core product offerings
  • Work with internal stakeholders across the company to identify compelling research and stories and translate them into customer and participant facing content, to be published in a variety of formats (traditional as well as digital outlets, blogs, social media, etc)
  • Find new and creative ways to tell Evidation’s direction to work in ways that differentiate the company from its competitors
  • Work with Product, Commercial, and Marketing teams to develop content that will support our growth targets and strategic objectives
  • Provide in-app participant communications
  • Research and incorporate best practices in communications for health education and promotion, content and curriculum delivery at relevant companies, and communicating with a variety of diverse audiences
  • Measure performance and adjust content to maximize reach and engagement

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in scientific communications, journalism, English, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience writing science or health communications, and content development
  • Expertise in translating scientific, medical, and complex concepts into more easily understood terms for various audiences
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including the ability to write and edit complex material to ensure accuracy, clarity, and effectiveness
  • Ability to identify how communications fit into the company's strategy and larger goals
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently
  • Solid organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to be flexible and maintain a problem-solving mindset in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multicultural sensitivity, build positive and productive relationships, seek input and value differences
  • Strong software and computer skills; proficient use of Google Workspace desirable

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in a communications or content role at a technology- or digital-focused company with a preference for experience and educational background involving healthcare journalism, health promotion, or behavioral psychology
  • Experience writing communications and developing content for digital health and wellness experiences
  • Experience working in a startup environment or digital health space
  • Experience working in the digital health space
