The Director Demand Marketing will be responsible for the strategy, planning, implementation, and execution of integrated demand programs designed to drive awareness and pipeline through multiple channels.

Candidates should possess a keen understanding of SaaS B2B marketing, with a strong background in customer acquisition, expansion, and retention techniques. They will also know how to apply these techniques to campaign design and execution that results in pipeline and bookings. Ideal candidates will possess the ability to drive meaningful action from large data sets. This role requires strong relationship- development skills across internal and external business partners and a passion for innovation, while maintaining a consistent focus on demand creation. This person will work closely with stakeholders to develop the strategy, while implementing and optimizing comprehensive marketing plans and deliverables that create demand for Redis solutions. 

This position reports to the Senior Director of Global Demand Marketing and works closely with individuals across the marketing teams and cross-functional teams in Redis. 

What you’ll do:

  • Drive customer acquisition, cross-sell, and up-sell efforts to meet expected lead and pipeline targets through a keen understanding of the most relevant and engaging content needed during the stages of a B2B sales cycle.
  • Determine the appropriate strategy of broad reach campaigns or ABM along with the right mix of on-line and off-line campaign elements with the most compelling and creative calls to action to deliver pipeline goals.
  • Thorough understanding of performance metrics, and how to set and measure frequent progress against goal attainment. Track and report on strategic, operational, and tactical metrics using data to manage resource allocation, outcomes, and success.
  • Communicate with the sales team to ensure that they are aware of the latest marketing programs and have the tools and enablement to follow up as required.
  • Collaborate with the digital team to ensure the digital programs are well timed with outbound planned and rapid response programs. 
  • Manage campaign budgets, timelines, resources, processes, and technologies

What will you need to have?

  • 10 years post-undergraduate experience managing demand generation programs for technology companies.
  • Track record of successful results and creativity with program design and execution including across verticals and account based marketing (ABM).
  • Prior experience managing and developing a high-performing team is essential.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to articulate performance metric requirements and drive meaningful actions from large data sets.
  • Excellent communication skills, including demonstrated proficiency in oral, writing and presentation abilities in a business-focused setting.
  • Passion for results, measurement, and optimization to continuously drive ROI.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.

Extra great if you have:

  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Marketo, 6Sense, Tableau a bonus
  • MBA preferred

Our office is located in a suburban neighborhood, but Downtown Mountain View and plenty of great eats are a five-minute drive away!
