Zoom Video Communications is looking for a Global Education Marketing Lead to define and execute the strategic GTM direction across Zoom’s platform of products to educational institutions throughout the world. The ideal candidate has a blend of strategic mindset, technology expertise and education industry experience. In this role, you will be part of a talented team that is spearheading Zoom’s focus on vertical industry solutions globally. The ability to work closely with sales, product development and other marketing groups to define comprehensive strategies, create compelling content and position Zoom as an Education thought leader will be key to this role’s success.
Responsibilities:
Lead a team of education industry experts to build and execute data-driven business plans and strategies for K12/Primary and Higher Education markets globally
Spearhead the successful implementation of key education programs including, but not limited to, Zoom Academy training event, credentialing/certification programs, Zoom Education Network community and education-focused customer advisory boards
Work closely with the business development, channel and integration teams to identify the necessary technology partnerships, strategic alliances and channel partners critical to comprehensive education solution development and GTM success
Align with product marketing, sales and sales enablement to introduce new products and to validate industry-specific use cases that provide value and competitive differentiation for targeted customers and unique personas
Coordinate with customer marketing and demand generation teams to create sales tools, integrated campaigns and marketing assets that make an impact throughout the buyer’s journey
Participate in joint customer meetings to elevate industry solutions discussions, to identify customer requirements and to support the sales team in achieving their revenue and growth targets
Work closely with product management to ensure that market and industry-specific needs are translated into product requirements
Qualifications:
You have demonstrated experience and passion for innovation in education
You are well-respected in the industry and have relationships/partnerships that will help build a community of educational leaders, advisors and customers
You have excellent communications skills – written and verbal – and enjoy speaking at industry events and webinars
You are great at aligning teams to achieve a common goal
You excel at building relationships in a matrix environment
You are accomplished at creating differentiated messaging and assets
You balance strategic thinking with tactical execution
You have sharp business acumen having built programs and grown businesses successfully
You understand how to use data science, market analytics and competitive information to create compelling pricing, bundles, promotions and other education-specific offers
You use quantifiable metrics to measure performance
You think globally, understand different cultures and enjoy working as part of a global team
Bachelor’s Degree / MBA (preferred)
15+ years of professional experience in online education and/or education technology, preferably in an innovation and leadership role
Deep knowledge of innovations and trends in the global education market
Solid knowledge of video conferencing, phone, chat and other Unified Communications products and their use in an educational environment
