The value of this position
Embroker is seeking to hire an Email Marketing Specialist to help scale and optimize our marketing emails and email-centered workflows to drive pipeline, keep shoppers engaged, and help customers get the best experience while buying insurance for their business. Your work with email will not only help grow our customer base but will also empower the Embroker Pack: making work more efficient and helping to drive the right message at the right time.
What you will own in this role:
You'll be working in all areas of our funnel: driving new business, retaining and nurturing customers, winning back lost customers; and you'll be supporting multiple divisions at Embroker from the Growth Marketing Team to the Sales Team to the Customer Success Team.
You'll work with a ton of analytics, you'll help build a lot of fun automation using the Lego blocks of data in our CRM, and you'll help create all of Embroker's email messaging.
What experience we think is the right fit
- Is experienced with email marketing platforms and CRMs.
- Understands how to use analytics to build out a strategy or plan of action.
- Has a growth mindset: always willing to test new ideas, disrupt the normal routine, and stays on top of trends and technologies in the email marketing space.
- Has a self-starter approach to work and is not afraid to ask 1,000 questions about something.
- Is extremely organized and constantly thinks of processes to make tasks more efficient.
- Good communicator, strong copywriting and copy editing skills.
Not required, but a plus:
- Good understanding of email deliverability, sender reputation, and best practices for list management, familiar with GDPR and CAN-SPAM laws.
- Knowledge of HTML.
- Understanding of automation rules, drip campaigns, email triggers.
- Has experience with Salesloft (or any sales engagement platform), experience in Asana (or some project management platform).
- Experience using SalesForce and Pardot.
