About Your Role:

As a growth marketing manager at Sendoso, you will own our acquisition funnels and build compounding growth loops for our freemium product. You will do this by generating hypotheses and running experiments across new and existing channels. You will work closely with the product, marketing, design and sales organizations to inform and scale your efforts.

Who You Are:

You think through experimentation frameworks, and constantly seek out ways to improve the trajectory of business metrics you are responsible for. You love and are extremely adept at creating new content and testing emails, ad copy, language, messaging to improve overall conversion metrics.

You are driven and nimble enough to work in a rapidly growing company that is setting the standard for a new category. You tolerate ambiguity, and can work with cross-functional teams to gain influence and leverage centers of excellence to achieve your results. Most importantly, you demonstrate problem-solving leadership.

You reach for data first, but when there is none available, you have a bias towards creating a hypothesis and springing to action to get the job done. You love A/B testing, site optimization, conversion rates, and above all else — care deeply about the customer.

Owner of our product led signup funnel:

  • You will drive traffic, signups, virality, product qualified leads and eventually revenue from our self-serve funnel. You will take full ownership of running experiments across any of the above areas with strong prioritization based on expected business outcomes. Types of growth areas you may be focus on - Virality, Email, Paid Acquisition, Product, SEO, Content Marketing, Conversion Rate Optimization, Social Media, Community, Partnerships, PR - all from the point of view of driving growth in the self-serve sign up funnel.

Learning, Research & Documentation:

  • Perform competitive research and best practice research before running experiments in new areas.
  • Document hypothesis, rationale behind decisions being made, metrics impacted, tracking required, and best practices learned.
  • Document learnings from the experiment, not just as a Win/Loss, but learnings about what the experiment tells us about our market/product/competitors/content/etc.

Your Key Outcomes:

  • Achieve a strong virality coefficient by the end of year 1
  • Increase # Qualified Signups / week within first 3 months
  • Build and maintain our automated pipeline generation system as needed
  • Run high-velocity experiments across multiple channels to rapidly generate learnings. Have a roadmap of experiments based on past successes and misses.
  • Own our customer journey email notifications to improve Activation, Engagement, Retention, Monetization, and Expansion, and work with broader go to market team to ensure entire revenue funnel is being served.

Experience:

  • BA/BS or equivalent working experience plus 3+ years of relevant growth or demand generation experience at a SaaS company.
  •  Demonstrated track record of owning and running experiments across multiple areas including Virality, Email, Paid Acquisition, SEO, Product, and CRO.
  • Ability to get hands on with your tactics, but also scale through agencies as appropriate.
  • Understands the bigger picture of revenue and work to connect our product led strategy to the broader go to market strategy to create a holistic and cohesive funnel that services our entire revenue funnel.
  • Voracious learner, constantly trying to learn best practices & growth strategies via research, learn about the largest opportunities to impact core business metrics, and learn how to constantly become more efficient and effective in your work.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to establish key metrics, perform basic analysis, and tell compelling stories through data interpretation.
  • Organizational skills and diligence to manage multiple experiments, write specs, document learnings, and document best practices.
  • Excellent communication & storytelling skills.
  • High bar for excellence, and willing to go above and beyond to get results.
  • Customer-obsessed, constantly trying to make sure that we understand and properly connect with our users.
  • Being tech-savvy is important in this role. Although it's ok to have gaps to begin, you will eventually need to use all of these tools: Google Analytics, Amplitude, Salesforce, Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Metadata.io, SEMRush, Ahrefs, Chilipiper, Google Sheets, Clearbit, and Marketo.
