The Role

Brex.com is our company’s most important digital asset. It’s typically the first digital impression people have of Brex and it serves many functions: selling our products, educating about our company, telling a story about our vision for the future, and many more. As the Head of Web Marketing and Strategy, you will drive the vision, strategic direction, web production, optimization, and day-to-day management of our web property. Success for this role means that our website creates a delightful user experience, inspires visitors to take action, presents the right content and information through frictionless web flows, and ultimately drive business growth. To thrive in this role, you are able to balance critical initiatives and everyday tactical efforts. Your best work is done in highly collaborative and cross-functional environments.

What You’ll Do:

  • Drive the strategic direction, short- and long-term vision, development, and optimization of Brex.com to improve the overall customer experience, and maximize return on investment
  • Combine creativity with meticulous data analysis to drive measurable business impact and growth for the business
  • Lead a highly cross-functional team comprising of design, front-end development, data analytics, brand, product marketing, and demand generation to launch “big rock” initiatives such as Brex.com redesign, new products, campaigns, and web experiments
  • Deploy digital website tools to diagnose opportunities for visitor path optimization and define strategic critical metrics for the website, build measurement capabilities, and deliver status reports on health of web properties
  • Manage constant feedback loop from Sales, Marketing, and User Research to improve our visitor experience, identify inefficiencies across the funnel, plan opportunities, and implement experiments that drive sustainable growth

What We Value:

  • BA/BS degree required, advanced degree preferred
  • At least 5 years of manager-level experience in website-related roles, preferably in high-growth B2B tech companies
  • Experience leading complex web projects for global companies with millions of monthly visitors 
  • Hands-on experience with marketing and digital strategy, product management, data analysis, and content marketing
  • Highly analytical, with experience interpreting data and communicating results to business partners
  • Experience with A/B testing tools, Google Analytics, GTM, CMS, HTML, CSS, and SEO
  • Ability to apply Agile concepts/processes as needed to support changes in product offerings, target audiences and more that impact the website framework and content hierarchies. Bonus if Scrum certified.
