Jira Brand Lead
Atlassian can hire people in any country where we have a legal entity, assuming candidates have eligible working rights and a sufficient timezone overlap with their team. As our offices re-open, Atlassians can choose to work remotely or return to an office, unless it’s necessary for the role to be performed in the office. Interviews and onboarding are conducted virtually, a part of being a distributed-first company.
Atlassian is looking for brand strategist to lead one of tech's most prominent brands into a new era of growth. The Jira brand lead will help craft positioning and messaging for the Jira brand and navigate how those stories come to life within the larger Atlassian brand portfolio to reach a global audience.
If you're able to take on the direct tasks of writing strategic briefs or digging into content production while also serving as a highly visible leader responsible for communicating a vision across an enterprise organization, well, then this role might be a good one for you.
In this role, you'll get to:
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to craft brand positioning and strategy for integrated marketing efforts
- Partner across creative, communications, editorial, events, as well as external vendors, to craft and execute key cross-GTM initiatives
- Act as a strategic partner to the creative team on development of branded content
- Manage vendor relationships end to end (SOW to project management), including but not limited to creative agencies, media partners, and other such vendors
- Manage project budgets & forecasting
- Coordinate and lead research and insights to drive project strategy and creative direction
- Work across a portfolio of brands and markets
- Partner closely with performance marketing and external platforms to develop and implement strategic media plan
- Report on campaign performance and make timely recommendations for optimization
- Partner with internal research and insights teams to monitor and react to brand metrics
On your first day, we'll expect you to have:
- 7+ years experience in brand marketing, brand planning, and/or brand management role
- Experience in or working with/managing creative and media agencies
- Experience developing brand positioning/platforms and managing brand portfolios
- Strong presentation, oral and written communication skills
- Critical thinking required for creating and implementing marketing plans and brand creative briefs.
It's great, but not required if you have:
- Familiarity with B2B SaaS marketing, but any brand experience welcome
- Experience developing organic branded content
- Experience with social media and community engagement
