The Marketing Operations team is chartered to build a foundation of structure, speed, and agility to empower marketers to realize their vision and drive business results. As we build our Marketing Operations team to support Particle’s rapid growth, a best in class Marketing Operations function is critical. The Marketing Operations Manager role will have the opportunity to craft and execute on their vision for a best-in-class Marketing Technology stack. The role will play an important part in defining Particle’s marketing processes and cross-collaboration between the sales, operations, and marketing functions.

You will:

  • Manage the implementation of Marketing Operations programs (including Salesforce enhancements, integrations via Tray.io, etc.)
  • Implement and maintain a world class Lead Scoring Model
  • Analysis and reporting of lead attribution and pipeline metrics; turning empirical data into plans
  • Ongoing management and maintenance of key campaign and lead generation programs through Marketing tools 
  • Represent Marketing in operational meetings: work to articulate marketing business problems, develop use cases, and deliver business requirements to our partners in Sales, Operations, and Product
  • Own Root Cause Analysis for marketing system issues 
  • Proactively identify and solve for key system and process gaps
  • Formalize the request process for marketers and sales, align on feasibility and expectations
  • Partner with marketing team members to create and implement an ideal customer journey with complex decision trees (complete with nurture emails, lead score attribution, and surfacing to the sales team)
  • Identify, design, and execute new processes that enable marketers to be more effective in their day to day work
  • Provide detailed reports on Key Performance Indicators for presentations to key stakeholders (Quarterly Business Reviews, Board of Directors, Sales Kick Off meetings, etc.) 

You have:

  • 5+ years of work experience in Marketing Operations/Sales Operations 
  • 2+ years in a demand generation/sales development role
  • Marketo Certified Expert accreditation 
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (eg: Salesforce), ETL Tools (eg: Segment), and Data Visualization Tools (eg: Tableau) 
  •  Database fundamentals (running SQL queries etc.)
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal customers (in Marketing, Sales, and Operations) and translate their needs into supporting capabilities
  • Strong problem solving techniques to identify and solution for key business problems
  • Project Management expertise including the evaluation, planning, and implementation of new tools
  • Experience working with business technology teams to develop internal tools, including: writing business requirements, gaining alignment on decisions, ensuring new capabilities will support business needs
  • Exposure to distribution channels and international channels is a plus
