General Purpose:

  • CORSAIR is looking for a passionate PC gamer for our student outreach program which promotes the CORSAIR brand on university campuses with PC-focused gaming and esports clubs worldwide. As the Student Programs Specialist, you will conceptualize, plan, and execute events and sponsorships with the overarching goal of connecting an audience of passionate student gamers to CORSAIR products and creating unique experiences. 

Position Summary, Responsibilities and Expectations:

  • Plan and drive CORSAIR branded collegiate esports gaming programs that reach both competitive and casual gamers
  • Manage relationships with industry partners and universities, growing contacts and building coalitions to drive our collegiate initiatives
  • Act as a front line of communication for students’ needs. Engaging with them on social platforms and offering support when possible
  • Evaluate and propose high ROI opportunities in the collegiate enthusiast and esports realm
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including product management, social media, corporate events and sponsorships to ensure that student activations can tie-in to product launches and campaigns
  • Create and maintain a calendar of student outreach events with tie-ins to product launches, gaming conventions, and relevant game culture events
  • Create new and engaging student experiences that tie in closely with the CORSAIR brand
  • Recruit and Manage a team of student ambassadors to represent CORSAIR on college campuses
  • Report on program KPIs and recap activations

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • 2+ years experience running or sponsoring events in the college gaming space with intimate working knowledge and relationships with collegiate groups
  • Bachelor degree or higher in business or related field
  • Extremely organized and with excellent project management skills
  • Strong work ethic and superb communication skills
  • Experience with social media metrics and turning data into information
  • Great understanding of the competitive and casual PC gaming culture and environment, especially as it pertains to college campuses
