Operations keeps Waymo’s business rolling. We are the vehicle operators, service technicians and customer support specialists who test and maintain our self-driving vehicles and bring help and guidance to our passengers and customers. The Operations team is the heart of Waymo’s testing operations and ride hailing service, handling every detail to make sure that each ride is the ultimate user experience.

In this role, you’ll:

• Create and implement an Operations planning & forecasting process. Work collaboratively with Ops, Product, Engineering & leadership to establish an executable operations plan that supports the company’s strategic direction.
• Own planning for testing & commercial operations across all locations and product lines
• Review historical trends, evaluate forecast results, provide feedback & provide accountability to the Operations management process
• Communicate to leadership regarding performance to plan, changes to forecast and risk & opportunity to the operating plan
• Programmatically oversee product & new market launch planning 

At a minimum, we’d like you to have:

• 7+ years of combined experience in demand planning, forecasting processes, S&OP processes or operations planning
• Advanced analytical capability & business judgement. Expert with modeling, forecasting, reporting tools, & supply/demand matching. 
• Expert Excel skills (complex formulas, pivots, vlookups, macros)
• Ability to effectively communicate complex data to wide audiences, including executives, and build clear, concise presentations
• Comfort leading leadership level decision making

It’s preferred if you have:

• Experience building demand or S&OP planning process from the ground up
