Clumio is looking for a Sr. Product Marketing Manager to create value-based messaging for our cloud-native SaaS data protection solution. You will partner with internal and external stakeholders on messaging, positioning, go-to-market strategy and communications. We are looking for a sharp, creative individual who can punch through the noise in the IT market.
The ideal candidate is an action-oriented leader who can shape a new conversation about enterprise data protection in the cloud. You must be able to thrive as an individual contributor as you define marketing strategy and drive execution of marketing programs. The optimal individual will have strong product expertise, strategy and communication skills. This role reports directly to the VP and Chief Technologist.In this role, you will:

  • Lead product marketing programs such that sales teams and partner organizations are properly informed about product details, messaging, sales tools and collateral, pricing, and release schedules
  • Develop high-impact and creative go-to-market plans and programs to drive customer acquisition in partnership with sales
  • Develop and communicate the value proposition of our solution to our target audience across all industries
  • Ensure content gets to the value of what we do, what we are about and what customers care about
  • Present to small groups and large audiences to promote our solutions
  • Work closely with product management, sales and solution consultants to drive competitive differentiation, articulate the business value of our solution and highlight customer wins
  • Educate the analyst community such that they understand how to properly communicate Clumio value propositions to their clients and accurately represent Clumio relative to the competition

Requirements:

  • 7-10+ years in enterprise product marketing for high-tech companies that target IT organizations. SaaS, public cloud and backup experience are each a plus
  • Experience building customer programs, campaigns and GTM strategies that drive pipeline and revenue
  • Bachelor’s in business, engineering or computer science (MBA a plus) – or related industry experience
  • Exceptional analytical skills including the assembly and interpretation of data, creation of executive summaries, and delivery of actionable business insights
  • Strong project and organization skills with the ability to optimally structure and prioritize work
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully influence critical stakeholders and to communicate the team’s vision and accomplishments
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and high energy
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willing to travel up to 30%
