About the Role

Productiv is on a mission to change SaaS management forever. We are looking for a technical writer, someone customer-centric, data-focused, and passionate about building products users love. This is a career-changing opportunity, working with some of the best in the Valley to build a product that changes the way companies get value out of their SaaS products. You will partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, Design, and Customer Success to create content to help drive customer success and product adoption. 

Responsibilities 

  • Partner closely with our Product team (Design, Product Management, and Engineering) to deeply understand product features and functionality.
  • Translate PRDs and design specs into easy-to-understand Help Center content focused not only on step-by-step documentation, but also how customers will get value from the product.
  • Maintain Help Center, focused on consistent and accurate content showcasing the breadth of product capabilities.
  • Work closely with cross-functional partners to drive adoption of product features and functionality.

Required Skills and Experience 

  • 5+ years of technical documentation experience in enterprise software.
  • Deep proficiency in writing content for different use cases: in-product messaging, help center, released notes, blogs, etc.
  • Deep customer empathy, will the ability to understand customer needs.
  • Excellent commercial communication skills (written, oral, and presentation).
  • Keen ability to develop relationships, optimize customer engagement, and evangelize products.
  • Familiarity with SaaS platforms, APIs, and IT groups.
