At Fictiv, we’re inspired every day by our customers and teammates

You’ll have the opportunity to interact with some of the most renowned companies on the planet who make physical products loved by millions. You’ll be working with some of the highest quality and most talented vendors who produce what seems impossible to produce. You’ll be surrounded by a wicked awesome team (think PhDs, Ironmans, artists) who are obsessed with winning the hearts and minds of product engineers and designers who are literally building the future (think autonomous cars)... today.

As our VP of Marketing, you’ll be responsible for leading, analyzing, and running an amazing team of Fictors to create a fresh approach to manufacturing to 1000’s of new customers. You’ll bring your curiosity, creativity, and growth mindset to develop and execute strategies that generate tons of raving Fictiv fans (and puts our old school competitor to shame).

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading -- You’ll manage a small team of dedicated and talented growth marketers and content developers to advance the business
  • Brand Development -- As the Fictiv brand champion, you will ensure that the company’s personality is consistently reflected across all touch points and you will help advance the company’s position as thought leader within the manufacturing industry
  • Product Marketing -- Partnering with Product Development, you will communicate the benefits of Fictiv products and services to our target audiences
  • Growth -- With your team and in coordination with our sales organization, you will grow awareness, interest, purchase, and engagement across all channels
  • Analyzing -- You’ll identify the metrics that matter, ensure accurate & timely tracking/reporting, and share key insights across the organization

Desired traits

  • You’re curious. You might not know much about manufacturing, but you’re intrigued by how physical products are designed and made. You’ve helped drive demand for technical products among technical users, and you can see the parallels between our industry and those in which you’ve worked.
  • You’re both a scientist and an artist. You’re data-driven and operate from a framework of hypotheses. And you’re customer-centric, building a deep empathy for our customers and partners which is reflected in clear and compelling communications. You take pride in the quality of your work.
  • You bring big-company experience with a start-up mentality. You’ve led Marketing teams in larger organization and are excited to leverage your skills to help define messaging, programs, and processes for a young company. You thrive in a fast-paced, resource-constrained, start-up environment.
  • You see the forest through the trees. You dive into program details and crunch raw data, but you extrapolate findings and translate those to help others focus on “the big picture.”
  • You have 5+ years experience in senior marketing leadership roles at B2B technology companies. MBA preferred.
