Director, Commerce Platform Partnerships
Facebook is seeking a strategic and results-driven leader to drive global growth for our Shops products as we create a world-class commerce ecosystem. This individual will manage a team focused on deepening engagement with third party eCommerce and Services platforms to accelerate product adoption and extend complementary capabilities. The ideal candidate has strong experience scaling businesses from a single market across the globe. Success also requires ability to build meaningful C-suite relationships with ecosystem stakeholders to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. Within our company, this leader must also drive results cross-functionally with other executives in product, engineering, legal, marketing and operations to expand capabilities, optimize user experience, and reduce barriers to partner success. Candidates should be deeply passionate about commerce and enabling a variety of new shopping experiences for both our partners and our community of people. This is a full-time position, and will report into our Vice President of Commerce Partnerships.
Director, Commerce Platform Partnerships Responsibilities
As a member of the Commerce leadership team, contribute to the growth of our Commerce business through partners
Lead our Commerce Platform Partnerships team for Shops across Facebook Inc’s family of apps
Develop our global platform partnerships strategy including identification of key partners
Build and manage alliances with strategic partners by defining joint roadmaps, managing multiple top to top touch points, and maintaining partner health
Increase the effectiveness of the team by recognizing, implementing and scaling opportunities for new strategies and approaches
Define market requirements, produce qualitative and quantitative analysis of partner performance, aggregate feedback, explore new strategic opportunities, inform the product roadmap with enhanced or new functionality, and ensure Facebook’s partnerships are optimized country-by-country and globally
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
15+ years professional experience within the commerce or marketplace platforms and online advertising space
Experience driving high-profile business strategies and influencing change across organizations
Experience defining and executing a strategy to build partner ecosystems
Demonstrated experience with industry media and conference engagement
Quantitative and qualitative analytical experience coupled with knowledge of operating principles
Experience managing a team, including people managers
Experience executing D&I actions, accountability and resources across programs in partnership with the broader Global Commerce team
Experience engaging with C-level of any partner organization
Preferred Qualifications
MBA or MS Degree or equivalent experience
