About the Role

We’re looking for an operator to join DoorDash’s growing Growth Marketing team to own strategy and planning for global driver onboarding and vendor operations. This individual will be responsible for owning onboarding operations end-to-end, working cross-functionally to improve the signup process and new Dasher experience. This individual will own and manage a multi-million dollar budget while leading week-to-week collaboration with our operational vendors. 

The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of developing data-driven strategies and tactics that drive positive ROI in both the digital and physical world. They will think creatively and analytically, working across many teams at DoorDash with people at all levels: C-level execs to associates. Additionally, this candidate must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a “roll up your sleeves” attitude and entrepreneurial spirit.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…

  • As an individual contributor, act as the business owner for Dasher onboarding operations.
  • Own relationships with our operational vendors and lead projects to improve background checking and gear distribution.
  • Lead cost-saving initiatives in collaboration with support and procurement teams across all vendor operations.
  • Partner with product and engineering teams to improve Dasher onboarding experience.
  • Own the operational cost budget and collaborate with marketing and finance teams to forecast and manage spend to meet financial objectives.

We’re excited about you because…

  • At least 3+ years of experience in managing and executing large-scale operational projects, with an additional 1-2+ years in a financial, strategy, or operations role (e.g. consulting, investment banking, operations).
  • Ability to synthesize data, make data-driven decisions and balance quantitative measurement with an intuition-driven bias to action.
  • Track record of building out and implementing multi-national strategies.
  • Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills, ability to organize information in a high level way to communicate key points to partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment, with a strong bias to action.
