About the Role

Figure’s Reno office is looking for an Operations Manager - Merchant Support to provide support for Figure Pay merchants. This role will be the primary point of contact and advocate for our Figure Pay Merchant customers.

What you’ll do:

• Own all aspects of support spanning routine on-boarding to real time triage of merchant questions, challenges, and escalated complaints 
• Develop and maintain merchant relationships beyond troubleshooting such that you became a trusted advisor
• Own documentation of merchant support including FAQs, support manuals, guides
• Gather key insights and assist in process improvement 
• Recommend modifications and additions to the Team's guiding documents including certain policies & procedures
• Contribute to an exciting and vibrant office environment and team dynamic

What we look for:

• BA/BS degree preferred
• 5+ years of experience in B2B support or sales
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with a variety of personality types via email, phone, and occasionally in person 
• Some understanding of fintech space and/or the ability to quickly learn both product flow and merchant compliance requirements 
• Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new or special assignments
• Supervises the activities of others
• Works on significant and unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangibles
• Exercises independent judgment in methods,  techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results 
• Creates formal networks involving coordination among groups
